The original company was established in Iran in 1960. Cyrus Travel USA was founded in 1980 by the previous owner and two other Iranians, who brought a combined 60 years of global experience in the fields of travel, technical sales, and government services. Our original company mission was to provide exceptional travel products and services to the approximately 500,000 native Iranians living in California, from our headquarters in San Francisco. Over the years, Cyrus Travel has grown significantly. We opened new offices in San Jose, Beverly Hills, Irvine and Washington D.C. Today, Cyrus Travel is recognized by the 1.5 million Iranian nationals now living in the United States as the nation's premier source for travel to Iran and Europe. It is also recognized as the only consolidator in a highly competitive market that provides outstanding, value-added service to its customers. At Cyrus Travel offices the horizon is always filled with possibilities and we just have added a new one for your enjoyment. Cyrus Travel is offering you a unique present in the form of fabulous tours to spectacular Iran.
We just returned from Iran and we had an amazing trip!
Thank you for all of your assistance and we are already planning on visiting again next year!
Cyrus – just wanted to let you know our trip to Iran was amazing. Ahmed, our guide, was particularly good. He figured out what we liked to eat see etc. and made solid suggestions the whole time. His English is great and his passion and knowledge of the country added substantially. Would highly recommend him for future clients (especially younger Americans).
All hotels were very nice (except the abassi which we requested, and was a bit too but and commercial). The hotel in Yazd was especially lovely.
We want to thank you for a wonderful experience with your travel agency, we did enjoy our vacation in Egypt very much. If you ever travel to Nashville, TN please visit us, we love to see you again. I attached some pictures of you with the group.
I just returned from 17 days in Iran, and recommend the trip highly. Visas, connections and accommodations were first rate; guides excellent; the weather fine, the scenery spectacular, the antiquity (some 2500 years) astounding. The people, with a great curiosity about Americans, couldn’t have been more kind or hospitable.
Dear Cyrus Beheshti,
I just wanted to drop you a note and say thank you for the great accommodation of your Egypt tour. I have only 3 words to say: FAB-U-LOUS.
Everything about the trip was perfect, hotel accommodation, the Nile cruise, the food and most importantly our tour guide Ayman, we loved him, such a passionate individual about his work and so kind and sweet. He was as our shadow everywhere and made sure that we were all happy 24/7.
I can’t thank you enough for all your great service, because of you and your staff this trip was possible for me, my mom and my aunts. I wanted to send you this thank you note on behalf of all. We will definitely recommend your services to our friends and family.
Dear Cyrus Travel
Earlier this month Mr. Paul …… and I traveled to Iran, visiting Tehran, Isfahan and Shiraz. We were very satisfied with the itinerary. We found the hotels, food and guides to be excellent. Moreover, the people were most friendly to us.
We both highly recommend the services of Cyrus Travel.
Our only regret was not to have more time there.
Just a note to thank you again for all your efforts in putting together such a memorable vacation to Egypt. We really enjoyed the whole trip and also Ayman was such a knowledgeable person, you could feel his passion for Egypt. We look forward to many more trips with Cyrus Travel. Thanks again.
Had a nice 10 days in Iran. The schedule was just about right; we used one of the Shiraz days to go to Bishapour, which gave us more exposure to countryside. In hindsight, may be I’d go on land from Pasargad via Yazd to Isfahan, but it was fine as is.
The historical sites were outstanding, as expected. I was glad that I Got a few occasions to talk to people, including visits to a university, a business promoting Persian language software company, some bookstores and some religious minorities. Not a lot, but more than I had anticipated in a tight schedule. Did get to the mountains above Tehran, and -big surprise- right to Khomeini’s home.
We got a bunch of nice restaurants for fesenjan, fadooli (at least the Shiraz version) and ash-e-reshteh (though only once, in the Caravansarai Hotel garden in Isfahan). Standard kebabs fine. I did get tired of barley soup on every menu.
A particular commendation to Reza……., our guide, who was both knowledgeable about the archeological details but, very important, on the linguistic issues which were important to me. Friendly, young, gregarious, still eager to learn, and still excited about going to places he’d been to a hundred times before. He was a good choice.
Now if they would all just learn how to drive…..
I spent 17 days in Iran with Cyrus Tours, and found the trip among the most interesting I’ve experienced. This includes Cuba and North Korea. The scenery is magnificent, the spring weather delightful, the antiquity amazing (some predates Greece) and the people simply marvelous. They are extremely hospitable and terribly curious about Americans (I saw nine). The Europeans and Asians are flocking to Iran. At no time was I apprehensive or uncomfortable.
Most of this was because Cyrus Beheshti has more connections in Iran than any other tour operator in America. Originally in travel business in Iran, he still handles more Iranian travel than anyone stateside. His 40+ years in business and his office in Washington D.C. give him a rare perspective.
I wanted to visit your country for so long and it was incredible. The guides were great, always willing to help and to show us whatever we wanted. Our companions could not been better and the trip itself definitely exceeded my expectations. Being a group of 5 only, we were able to see the past, present and future of Iran. The home visit that we had in Shiraz gave great insight into how people really live. Everybody was so nice and helpful. I was in awe of your ancient civilization and learned so much about Iran. I hope I can send some clients and friends to your country so they can see what I saw. Thank you again for a wonderful trip.
Just a little note to thank you for all your efforts for facilitating such an excellent service to your customers.
Throughout the past years, I have had the pleasure of enjoying your services and because of your professional attitude, kind personality and prompt service, I have chosen the Cyrus Travel as my most favorite travel agency.
Keep up the good work.
We had a very nice trip to Isfahan and Shiraz. My compliments to Cyrus Travel, as well your corresponding agency in Iran.
